The Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005 encourages consumers to:

• Choose fiber-rich and potassium-rich foods such as fruits – CLIF Nectar has potassium & is a great source of fiber

• Consume two cups of fruit each day - CLIF Nectar equals about a ½ cup

• Keep trans fatty acid consumption as low as possible – CLIF Nectar has no trans fats
